History Made
Yesterday made history. The Summer of 2011 has gone down in the books as reaching 100+ degrees more than any other summer. It seems like forever since we've had a day where the temps were bearable. During the winter, I remember dreaming of being warm and yearning for summer's heat. Well, I wasn't dreaming of a furnace, but that's what we ended up with! I am hopeful that we will soon be enjoying a long fall with lots of crisp mornings and comfortable afternoons. Aww, yes, that sounds just right.

This summer was so hot, it stunk! Literally. I would step outside and the air reeked with the stench of heat and asphalt. Dad and I are thrilled with the changing seasons. We are ready for some Louisberg apple cider. Mmmmm!
